Poetry for Ed et al.
I came all the way from Nantucket
To get to the Dive, and with luck it
Was filled with good cheer,
And a lot of great beer,
And I have to say, I had a really great time.
Now which of the Dives is my favorite?
That’s like ice cream. So many flavors it
Is too hard to choose,
So I’ll just pay my dues,
At each one since they’re all really cool.
Can’t wait to get back to the city.
I’m guessing you all really miss me.
Good thing ‘twon’t be long
And unless I am wrong
I’ll be partying with you all on Saturday. : )

Viva all drunk poets, but sadly I wasn’t.
Ooh, maybe I shouldn’t admit that that’s the best I could do even sober. : )

No worries it is better than i could come up with drunk or stone sober. I’ll work on it though maybe I’ll come up with a Haiku.
